ALL-STAR COMEDY ROUNDTABLE PRESENTED BY BEN STILLER

For the past two years, Ben Stiller has invited some of his favorite writers, directors, and performers to join him at the Festival, and each sold-out Roundtable has been one of the most memorable events of the Festival.

Last year, Sarah Silverman, Andy Samberg, and Zach Galifianakis yanked it up alongside Stiller and moderator Brian Williams. The Roundtable concluded with an impromptu episode of Between Two Ferns, which featured (in an interesting reversal of roles) Galifianakis making moderator Williams squirm with ridiculous questions.

This year’s All-Star Comedy Roundtable is coming together right now, so check back for updates soon!

LATE NIGHT STORYTELLING

We're looking for stories for our 2011 Late Night Storytelling event.

Submit one paragraph (or two) about your story.* Include the basics of what, when, where and who. Stories must be true but no essays please! E-mail submissions to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by June 1!

This year’s theme: OFF ON THE WRONG FOOT. Missteps. Missed chances. Misconceptions. Who hasn’t started a new relationship or a new job and bumbled when trying to make a good first impression? Whether you put your foot in your mouth or accidently played footsie under the table with Aunt Sadie instead of your boyfriend, here is the perfect night to relate and hear stories about false and faulty starts.

Past storytellers include the only local gynecologist, a sanitation worker, and an extra on a movie set and tourist in Paris, as well as headliners such as Jim Carrey, Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, Mos Def, and Sarah Silverman.

*Please know that we will read all stories submitted but will only contact those applicants whose stories fit well with the other stories we are presenting. If you are contacted, you will be asked to tell your story to us out loud to determine if it fits with the evening's programming.
